Happy Father's Day!!!

Happy Father's Day to my fabulous husband and father of my two boys (well, 1 3/4)!!!  Ty is a complete Daddy's boy, and asks for him all day long.  "Daddy" is one of his favorite signs, and he just lights up every time Daddy walks in the room.  Here are my two favorite boys in the world!

Of course, I had to go back and find Eric's first Father's Day picture, because I always love to see how far we've come!  On this first Father's Day, Ty was just 3 months old (and quite a bald chunky monkey!), and we were still living in Virginia, getting ready to move back to New Hampshire.  Here are Ty and Daddy playing Mario Kart on Wii...which I'm pretty sure we haven't busted out since this picture was taken!

So Happy Father's Day to Ty's wonderful father, and all of the other Grandpas, and Poppis, and Papas, and Grandys in Ty's life!  He certainly is one lucky boy to have all of them!

NSTAR Walk 2012

Well, we have year 2 of the NSTAR Walk for Boston Children's Hospital under our belts, and had a great time!!!  The weather was a thousand times better than it was last year, and we got to enjoy some of the events that the walk had to offer.  Ty was so fortunate to have four of his grandparents and his uncle come out to support him this year, and had a lot of fun playing with some of his friends who walked, too!  Here's a little picture recap of our day!

Saying hi to his friend Connor

"No hugs!!!"  This picture cracks me up!

Dressed in his ankle-length "miracle maker" t-shirt, ready to walk (and not too sure about it!)

Warming up for the walk with a little dancing next to the DJ booth!

Crossing the finish line and getting his medal

Yay, Ty!!!

Very proud of himself...not quite sure why...but he loved the attention anyway!

Our two little reasons for walking!

Our walking buddies!!

Ty's fan club who came out to support him today!
(Papa, Nanny, Uncle Dave, Lala, and Poppi)

Blowing bubbles after the walk...

...And the aftermath of going swimming in the pool of bubbles!

Once again, thank you to everyone who helped to support Ty, the hospital, and the Down Syndrome Program this year!!!  As a family we raised just about $1,500, which I know will be put to excellent use by the Down Syndrome Program, and will benefit our little Ty guy and all of his friends.  Thank you, again!!!
