Our baby is ONE! We can't believe that an entire year has already gone by. It's been an incredibly busy year, and we've learned a ton, but it's been absolutely awesome having this little guy in our life!
I was looking back at all of Ty's pictures from this year, and it amazes me how much he has accomplished. He was expected to be very sick (and looking at his medical records you'd think that's the case!), but he has been healthy, strong, and incredibly energetic since the day he was born. He has "beat" all of the expectations that people have had for him every step of the way...it's just the way he is! He is curious, and determined, and truly a little "explorer". Watching him grow up is going to be such an adventure!
We spent his birthday today at the New England Aquarium in Boston. All 3 of us played "hookie" from school, and decided to spend the day together. We took Ty on his first 'T' ride in Boston, which he actually enjoyed! He loved all of the fish and penguins at the aquarium, too. He was especially mezmerized by all of those really colorful fish! It was a great day together.
